Welcome to More Than Just a Fundraiser
By combining unexpected elements in creative ways, we’ve developed a system for organizing fundraisers that offer a fun night out raising money for medical nonprofit organizations, while also giving back to deserving physicians. Aside from the fundraising aspect, these events are also serve as a nonprofit/physician meet and greet, which benefits patients by fostering connections between physicians and relevant medical nonprofit organizations, as well as industry leaders.
We are proud to announce we’ve received our 501c3 tax status from the IRS and plans are in motion for our first events in August. Please check back soon for updates such as event details/calendar, event prospectuses for our partners in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as a payment portal for sponsorships and donations.
A note from our Executive Director, Kerry Kendall
When I was young, my parents got me a subscription to Penny Power, the children's version of Consumer Reports. Instead of absorbing the practical lessons I was probably meant to, such as buyer beware, I became captivated by marketing and advertising and the concept that the right creative idea could have a large impact. As I grew older and became more involved in the non-profit world, I channeled that interest into a mission to help others, aiming to make the world a better place by creating win-win situations. This is why I founded More Than Just a Fundraiser.
